Liability Disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer carefully. By hiring ExtraHands Houston, the Client acknowledges and accepts the following.

Pre-Existing Damage

ExtraHands is not liable for pre-existing damage to the property, structures, fixtures, landscaping, or personal items. We document conditions where reasonable, but we do not perform formal property inspections.

Unsecured or Fragile Items

The Client is responsible for moving, securing, or disclosing any fragile, valuable, or sentimental items in or near the work area before work begins. ExtraHands is not liable for accidental damage to items that were not disclosed or that the Client chose to leave in the work zone.

Injury on Client Property

The Client is responsible for maintaining a reasonably safe work environment. ExtraHands is not liable for injury caused by hidden hazards (rotted decking, unstable structures, hidden wiring, aggressive animals, etc.) that were not disclosed in advance.

Client Direction of Work

Because ExtraHands provides labor at the Client's direction, the Client assumes responsibility for ensuring the requested work is appropriate, lawful, and safe to perform on their property. If we believe a task is unsafe, we reserve the right to decline it.

Specialized & Licensed Work

We do not perform licensed contractor work in-house (no plumbing, electrical, structural, or HVAC). For these, we coordinate with qualified third-party professionals; the licensed third party is solely responsible for their own work and warranty.

Tree Trimming

Our tree trimming is light-duty only, using electric equipment, on small trees and accessible branches. Branches are cut and stacked on-site. Haul-away is not included unless agreed separately. We do not perform large-tree removal or hazardous tree work in-house.

Estimates

All quotes are based on conditions visible at the time of estimate. Hidden conditions may change scope or cost; any change is reviewed with the Client on-site before continuing.
